Logging In

Upon logging into Portcast for the first time, you will be asked to first update your password which was generated systematically and provided to you upon account creation.

Please input your name and new password to proceed with the onboarding process. Your password must include:

First Container Upload

Once you’ve updated your password, you’ll be required to log in once more for security reasons. Upon successful login, you will be guided through a container upload onboarding flow.

You will have an option to:

  1. Bulk upload multiple containers
    1. If you have multiple containers to upload, it is advisable to download the CSV template by clicking on the “Download sample upload file” link and input your containers based on the format of the template
    2. Once your CSV has been prepared, you can drag-drop or click to add your CSV file for bulk processing
  2. Manually upload one or more containers via the webapp
    1. For every container that you want to track, please input the container number
    2. If you’re unsure of the carrier SCAC code, you can enter and select the “AUTO” option (see below)
    3. B/L, POL, and POD are optional input
    4. Once you have input your container details, you can click on the “Add Containers” button

If you don’t have a container number ready for onboarding process, you can always exit the container upload flow. You can return back to this flow anytime by clicking on the “Add Container” option in the webapp
